BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame field hockey hosted Keystone College in their first "home" game of the season. Notre Dame hosted the Giants at Friends School of Baltimore. In the Colonial States Athletic Conference match up, the Gators held the Giants to a scoreless first half, but a late goal by Keystone sealed the game, 1-0.
A strong defensive outing for Notre Dame, they held Keystone scoreless through 50 minutes of play.
In goal for the Gators, freshman
Fallon Katz posted 10 saves in the game. This is her third game this season posting double-digit saves. She is currently ranked second in the CSAC for saves per game (8.83).
Freshman
Katie Hawkins recorded two defensive saves, both last second rebounded saves.
Keystone had 25 penalty corners in the game, but the Gator defense held strong only allowing the lone goal of the game.

The Gators turn around tomorrow and travel to Sweet Briar College with soccer. This is a rescheduled game from earlier in the season.
