BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame Gators hosted current Colonial States Athletic Conference top-ranked, Rosemont College in their first game in the back half of their conference schedule.
In the opening quarter, Notre Dame let Rosemont jump out to a 15-2 lead with five left to play in the first. The Gators would hold the Raves scoreless the rest of the half, outscoring them 10-0. Rosemont held a narrow, 15-12 lead going into the second.
In the second quarter Rosemont again pulled away and did not let up. The Gators eventually fell to the Ravens, 82-47.
Sophomore
Adrianna Fletcher led the Gators in scoring, posting 12 points. She had a team-leading three three-pointers, while also going 3-for-4 from the free-throw line. She continues to lead Notre Dame in points per game with 10.0.
Freshman
Vanessa Dunn also posted double-digits scoring, finishing with 10 points. Dunn had one beyond and three field goals from inside three-point range. She also tallied a career-high and team-leading seven rebounds, five on the offensive boards and two on defense.
Reaching a season-high, senior
Justice Walrath had six of the team's nine assists for the night.
With everyone getting playing time in game, 11 different players posted a least one of the team's 39 rebounds.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS MARYLAND
In a continued relationship with local Special Olympics Maryland teams, the Notre Dame basketball team welcomed basketball athletes from Special Olympics Maryland to their game this evening. The athletes from Howard County participated in pregame events and had an opportunity to play in a scrimmage at halftime.
The Special Olympics is a proud partner of NCAA Division III, starting their relationship back in 2011. Every year, student-athlete from Notre Dame participate in Special Olympics events as part of the DIII partnership. In October, Notre Dame hosted the CSAC SAAC meetings where the student-athletes engaged in conversation and games with Special Olympics athletes. The event was highlighted on the NCAA DIII Special Olympics Spotlight during December and January.

In their second CSAC game of the week, the Gators will travel to Cairn University on Thursday. Notre Dame returns home on Saturday to face Centenary Univesrity for a 1:00 p.m. start.
