ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Gators secured six more CSAC Weekly Honors after a 6-0 week for field hockey, soccer, and volleyball.
FIELD HOCKEY
For the second week in a row, NDMU field hockey posted two CSAC Weekly Honors. The Gators swept the awards as sophomores
Vanessa Dunn and
Fallon Katz were named the CSAC Player and Defensive Players of the Week.
The Gators went 1-0 in the CSAC last week, securing a home victory over Lancaster Bible. Dunn posted the team's first goal of the game off a penalty stroke and then tallied an assist in the Gators' game-winning-goal. Dunn is currently second in the CSAC for goals and shots on goal per game. She has posted 10 goal so far this season.
In the Gators' 2-1 victory over Lancaster Bible Katz tallied three saves. So far this season, she has posted 78 saves, while the Gators are 6-6 overall and 2-0 in the CSAC. She is currently fifth in the CSAC in saves per game.
This season marks the second time in program history that the Gators have posted two conference wins since joining the CSAC in 2007. NDMU has four conference games remaining this season.

SOCCER
NDMU soccer nabbed two CSAC weekly recognitions in their 2-0 week.
Freshman
Myla Young was named the CSAC Defensive Player of the Week, for her third DPOTW recognition in her rookie season. Not only did the Gators score two conference wins, they posted two shutout victories. Young now has six shutouts this season and leads the CSAC in saves and shutouts per game. She finished the week with 11 saves.
Also earning CSAC recognition, senior
Colette Pierce was named to the CSAC Honor Roll for her third honor this season. She was previously named Player of the Week and Honor Roll this season. Pierce made a play in all three of the Gators' scores last week. In their 1-0 victory over Wilson, Pierce knocked in their lone goal, while in their 2-1 win at St. Elizabeth she tallied both a goal and assist. She is currently fourth in the CSAC in points per game.

VOLLEYBALL
Notre Dame volleyball also earned two CSAC weekly honors in their 3-0 week. The Gators posted two conference wins and one non-conference and are currently on a 12-match win streak.
Junior
Michaila Sheedy earned her fifth CSAC weekly honor, being named the CSAC Player of the Week. Sheedy had a solid week for the Gators, posting 32 kills for a .547 hitting percentage. She also added six aces, five digs, and two blocks. Sheedy currently leads the CSAC in hitting percentage this season and fifth in blocks.
Freshman
Ivanella Figueroa also nabbed her fifth honor, being named to the CSAC Honor Roll. Figueroa posted 46 digs in the team's 3-0 week. She averaged 4.60 digs per set and is currently second in the CSAC for digs per set.
