BALTIMORE, Md. — Notre Dame field hockey posted their first conference win of the season, defeating Cedar Crest College, 2-1.
In the opening frame, the Falcons jumped out to an early lead, scoring in the first 10 minutes of play.
NDMU and Cedar Crest played even in the second quarter, going into halftime down, 1-0.
Sophomore Vanessa Dunn scored the equalizer in the third quarter, posting her ninth goal of the season, assisted by junior Hailey Lockard.
In the 42nd minute, sophomore Kelsey Campbell posted the eventual game-winning-goal.
The Gators rallied back in the second half to seal their first CSAC victory of the season.
In goal for the Gators, sophomore Fallon Katz tallied eight saves.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Gators have two conference games next week, hosting both Lancaster Bible and Bryn Athyn.
