Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame basketball team opened their 2019-20 home schedule, hosting Washington College Wednesday night. The Shorebirds took a strong lead to open the game and the Gators could not recover falling, 51-76.
Despite the slow start for Notre Dame, the outscored Washington 17-10 in the second quarter. In the third they played even, being outscored by only a basket, 14-12.

Ariana Alleyne led the team in scoring, finishing the game with 14. She went 6-for-8 from the free throw line, also adding four rebounds.

Jaylah Lewis also posted double-figures, posting 13 points with seven rebounds and two steals.
One score and rebound away from a double-double, sophomore
Daija Fitchett finished the night with nine points and nine rebounds. She shot 66.7% from the floor.
The Gators posted 41 rebounds, led by Fitchett. Freshman
Ayana Brim was close behind with eight, while adding six points.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators will have over a week break in action before returning to the court. They will host University of Valley Forge on Friday, November 22 at 7:00 p.m.
