ROSEMONT, Pa. –  In the Gators' first week of Colonial States Athletic Conference Weekly honors for the winter season, NDMU basketball earned their first recognition.
 
BASKETBALL
In her first career weekly recognition, freshman Jaylah Lewis was named to the CSAC Weekly Honor Roll.
 
The Gators went 1-2 in their opening weeks of play, defeating Penn State Harrisburg, while falling to Morgan State and Washington College.  Over those three games, Lewis averaged 10 points a game and posted seven assists.  Defensively, Lewis led the team in steals with nine, also adding two blocks and 13 rebounds.
 
This week, Notre Dame has a light game week, only facing Valley Forge at home on Friday.
