CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Notre Dame tennis was on the road today at Clarks Summit University in their Colonial States Athletic Conference match. The Gators scored one win against the Defenders, but dropped the match, 1-8.
In first doubles, freshman
Isabella Dallasta and sophomore
Ceida Portillo took four games, but fell 4-8.
In third singles, junior
Davida Rogers dropped the first set, 4-6, but rallied back to take the second set, 6-1. In the deciding set, she fell, 4-10.
In her first career match for the Gators, freshman
Amethyst Stevens recorded her first victory, taking her fifth singles match in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.
WHAT'S NEXT?
On Wednesday, the Gators will travel to Trinity Washington University for a doubleheader match against the Tigers. On Saturday, they will travel to Keystone College for more CSAC action.
