Box Score YORK, Pa. – Notre Dame volleyball was on the road today after the weekend off of play.  The Gators bested the Nittany Lions, sweeping them in three sets (25-10, 25-12, 25-11).

NDMU middle hitting were dominate, combining for 15 kills.  Junior Michaila Sheedy lead the team with eight kills, while sophomore Alyssa Kerns added seven. 

Freshman Gabbi Taganas tallied a career high with four kills, hitting for .429. 

The Gators posted 10 aces against the Nittany Lions as seniors Kayleigh Davis and Sara Few led with three apiece. 

Defensively, freshman Ivanella Figueroapaced the team with 17 digs, while the team finished with 41.  Sheedy posted two blocks, while Davis added one.

The Gators will face two more Penn State teams this weekend.  In the trimatch hosted by PSU Abington, NDMU will also face PSU Berks.
