ROSEMONT, Pa. – In the fourth week of competition, the Gators secured three Colonial States Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors. This is the third time this season NDMU had two or more Player of the Week honorees.
FIELD HOCKEY
For the second consecutive week, sophomore
Vanessa Dunn was honored from the CSAC for her play last week. Dunn was instrumental in the team's 4-3 overtime victory against Eastern Mennonite on Saturday. In the game she scored the first goal of the game for the Gators and then late in the fourth, helped the team get back to tied, scoring with less than 10 minutes left in regulation. This is her second honor of the year, earning Honor Roll recognitions last week. She currently ranks second in the CSAC in goals, points, and shots per game.

VOLLEYBALL
For the fourth consecutive week, NDMU volleyball had two players earn CSAC Weekly recognition. Sophomore
Alyssa Kerns had a dominate week, helping the team go 3-0. Kerns led the team with 27 kills in 11 sets, averaging 2.45 per set. She was one of three players to notch 20+ kills for the Gators this week. She also hit for .277, while adding seven blocks. This is her second Player of the Week recognition this season, being named POTW the week of September 9.
Also earning CSAC recognition was freshman
Ivanella Figueroa. Figueroa was named the CSAC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career. In two previous weeks, she had earned Honor Roll status. Defensively, Figueroa led the team with 64 digs, averaging 5.82 per set. She also two aces from the service line and six assists. She is currently ranked second in the CSAC for digs per set.
