BALTIMORE - Notre Dame of Maryland University field hockey team traveled to Aston, Pennsylvania on Monday evening to make up a non-conference contest against Neumann University (2-11, 0-3 Atlantic East).

Hailey Lockard both delivered second-half scores to lift Notre Dame to a 2-1 victory. The Gators will improve to 4-8 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alyson Geckle was busy early on for the Gators. She took four penalty corners that led to three near chances in a scoreless period.
- In the second period, Neumann was on the attack as they were able to get off four shots on a stout Gators defense.
- Jensen Armstrong had three saves in the first half and she kept the Knights off the scoreboard until the final minutes of the late period.
- Early in the third period, just two minutes into the second half, Dunn scored her ninth goal of the season to give Notre Dame a 1-0 advantage. Lockard was credited with the assist.
- The Gators turned up the pressure in the second half after Dunn's goal. NDMU tallied 15 of its 18 shots on the evening in the third and fourth periods. 12 of its 16 penalty corners came in the second half.
- With Notre Dame up 1-0 with just over 10 minutes of play remaining, Lockard scored her fifth goal of the year to stretch the Gators lead to 2-0.

- Dunn and Lockard are one and two on the season goals and points total for Notre Dame (Md.).
- Notre Dame (Md.) outshot Neumann 18-9. The Gators also left with a 16-9 penalty corner advantage.
- The Gators are sporting a three-game win streak going into Wednesday's CSAC showdown.
