BALTIMORE - Notre Dame of Maryland University's field hockey hosted an undefeated Wilson College team on Saturday afternoon and fell 5-0. The defending CSAC champions will leave with a perfect 12-0 record the Gators drop to 1-8 on the year. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Phoenix started the match on the attack testing the Gators defense early and often in the first period. Two goals would give Wilson a 2-0 lead at the end of the period.
• The Gators saw a few scoring chances on two penalty corners but all shots from the Notre Dame offense were inevitably blocked by the Wilson defense
• Notre Dame lost the shot battle by a landslide 18-0 and struggled to convert on their offensive possessions.

OF NOTE 

• Wilson will take a 17-5 lead in the all-time series between the two schools.
• Jensen Armstrong has combined for 27 saves in her last two outings. She has 83 on the season to lead the Gators.
