Anna Gibney Named Interim Tennis Head Coach

Baltimore, Md. – Anna Gibney will serve as the Interim Tennis Head Coach for the 2021 spring season. 
 
Gibney came to NDMU in 2017, where she began working for the Admissions Office. She currently is in charge of all events and visits with prospective students. Before coming to NDMU, she studied Sports Management with minors in Marketing and Business Administration at Towson University. 
 
Prior to that, she attended Damascus High School, where she was on the Varsity Tennis Team for four years. She served as captain her junior and senior years. In addition to tennis, Gibney also played softball at the varsity level. Gibney is excited to step into this new role, "tennis has always been a sport that I enjoy going back to, whether it's playing for fun with friends, or getting competitive and playing to win."
 
Renee Bostic, the Director of Athletics and Wellness at NDMU says, "we are happy to welcome Anna to our Athletics staff. As a long-standing staff member of the university, she will serve as a role model for our student-athletes."
