Volleyball Picked First in 2021 CSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

ROSEMONT, Pa. – Notre Dame of Maryland University, winners of the last two Colonial States Athletic Conference championships, was again picked as the favorite by the coaches in the 2021 Preseason Women's Volleyball poll.

The Gators received 90 points and five first-place votes, while Cedar Crest College was second with 86 points and four first-place votes. The Falcons were runners up in 2019. Keystone College was third with 65 points and one first-place vote.
Bryn Athyn College was fourth with 64 points, followed by Wilson College in fifth with 62 points and Cairn University in sixth with 50 points.

Clarks Summit University was seventh with 43 points, with Rosemont College in eighth at 37 points, Saint Elizabeth University in ninth with 34 points and the University of Valley Forge in tenth at 19 points.

With the 2020 season cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Notre Dame will be looking to win its third straight championship, becoming the first school to win straight since Cabrini University captured five straight from 2013 to 2017.
The first conference play day is set for Thursday, September 30, with four conference matchups.

The playoffs, taking the top five teams, starts on Tuesday, November 2 and concludes with the championship match on Saturday, November 6.
