BALTIMORE- The Notre Dame (MD) women's tennis team avenged last season's defeat, taking down Clarks Summit University by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday, April 11.
NDMU grabbed an early 2-1 lead with #2 doubles team of
Tam Truong and
Renee Rosales and #3 doubles team of
Anna Choudhary and
Nwanneka Udolisa earning dominate victories.
In singles action Truong overcame a difficult second set to pick up an important three set victory. Rosales used her impressive serve to power to a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Udolisa and Choudhary closed out the victory, winning the #5 and #6 singles matches.
The Gators have a short turnaround, traveling to face Saint Elizabeth University on Thursday, Apr. 13. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
