The Notre Dame of Maryland Men's Basketball team suffered their third loss of the season in a non-conference contest to the McDaniel Green Terror, 64-72.
How it happened:
- The Gators and the Green Terror battled and kept it close throughout the first half, shooting 42% and 48% respectively. With the game being tied four times in the first half and the Gators largest lead of eight points. NDMU entered halftime up two, 32-34.
- McDaniel took the lead on an and one by David Kearney with just under 17 minutes to go in the game. McDaniel's largest lead of the second half was 11 points. The Gators would get within four points of the Green Terror.
- McDaniel finished shooting 50% from the field and 82% from the free throw line. David Kearney and Jonas Sujeta lead the Green Terror with 21 and 19 points.
- NDMU shot 37% from the field and 76% from the charity stripe. K'Won Johnson and Anthony Wright led the way for the Gators with 13 points each.
NDMU is back in action on November 26th at 7:30pm at Wilson College for their first United East Conference contest this season.
