Huntingdon, PA- The Notre Dame of Maryland Women's Soccer Team dropped a road match up with Juniata, losing to the Eagles by a score of 8-0 on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The Gators fell behind early as the Eagles scored three times in the opening 18 minutes to take an early advantage. NDMU tried to make some adjustments to slow Juniata's attack, but the Eagles added three more first half goals to take a 6-0 lead into the break.
NDMU could not find any offense in the second half as Juniata controlled the run of play. The Gators goalkeeper duo of
Makaylah Reyes and
Leah Hasberry combine to make 11 saves. Juniata scored two more goal, earning the 8-0 victory.
WHO'S NEXT
The Gators will take an 11-day break before traveling to face Bryn Mawr College on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The kick-off is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
