SALISBURY, MD — Ricardo Ross scored 28 points and Marlon Lewis added 27 as Notre Dame of Maryland rallied past Gettysburg 84–79 on Saturday night. The win allows the Gators to leave the Governors Challenge invitational tournament feeling great with two consecutive wins against high quality opponents.

Notre Dame trailed 37–32 at halftime before shooting 58.8% in the second half and outscoring the Bullets 52–42 over the final 20 minutes. Ross went 10 of 15 from the field and hit five 3-pointers, while Lewis shot 11 of 19 and carried the Gators inside.

Gettysburg built a double-digit lead early in the second half, but the Gators chipped away as Ross hit from long range and Lewis continued to score at the rim. Notre Dame forced 16 turnovers and turned them into 16 points, helping swing momentum as the Gators took control in the closing minutes.

Dylan Long and Jackson Pugh each scored 10 for Notre Dame, which shot 49.2% overall and 66.7% from 3-point range.

Aiden Mess led Gettysburg with 15 points. Reece Craft and Caleb Gillus each scored 13, and Lorenzo Carrara added 11 for the Bullets, who made 11 3-pointers but were outscored in transition and struggled to contain Ross and Lewis down the stretch.

Notre Dame closed the game at the free-throw line and held on for the road win.
