IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Notre Dame of Maryland women's lacrosse team dropped its season opener to Immaculata University on Saturday by a score of 13-2.
Cailyn Motta had both goals for the Gators (0-1) scoring her two goals in the fourth quarter. Her first came at 13:26 left in the fourth as she scored on a
Jillian Seay assist with her last goal coming at 1:45 left in the contest on a
Sarah Generoso assist.
Generoso and Motta had two draw controls each, while
Emily Funez and
Ariana Rodriguez each had two caused turnovers.
Leah Hasberry had seven ground balls with Funez getting five.
In goal, Hasberry had 26 saves.
Notre Dame will head to back to the Main Line on Wednesday to take on Eastern.
