LANCASTER, Pa. – Notre Dame of Maryland University scored in every inning but one as the Gators (1-2) recorded their first win as a program on Wednesday, taking down Lancaster Bible (3-2) 22-9.

The win marked the first for the Gators in three tries, as they slugged out 19 hits on the afternoon.

Tyler Holton went 5-for-7 with five RBI and four runs scored with a home run and a double on the day. Kyle Erickson and Keith Cochran had three hits each, with Cochran and Erickson each hitting a home run. Erickson had five runs scored with Cochran getting four RBI. Six other players hit safely for Notre Dame.

Tied 4-4 after three, Holton singled to right center scoring Erickson and Hunter Beil for a 6-4 lead. In the fifth, Carter Nocca then singled through the left side scoring for a RBI single, with Nocca later scoring on a RBI single by Holton. A three-run home run to left cneter by Cochran broke the game open for the Gators, who then lead 11-4.

Holton would later homer in the eighth.

Joe Agrusti started the game and got two strikeouts and four walks in four innings. Kevin Dantzig got the program's first win, pitching two innings of one hit ball. Kevin Goedeke recorded the program's first save, throwing three innings and striking out five.

Notre Dame will host Juniata on Saturday in Columbia.
