ST DAVIDS, Pa. – Emily Funez scored three goals for the Notre Dame of Maryland University women's lacrosse team as the Gators (0-2) dropped a 20-3 decision to Eastern (1-1) on Wednesday afternoon.

Funez scored two of her three goals in the second quarter, while Sarah Generoso had an assist for Notre Dame of Maryland.

Adrienne Villa and Jullian Seay had three ground balls each, while Villa had three caused turnovers.

Generoso had five draw controls for Notre Dame, who got six saves from Makaylah Reyes.

The Gators will host Delaware Valley University on Wednesday, to start an eight game homestand.
