MEDIA, PA - The Notre Dame of Maryland women's cross country team kicked off the season at the United East Preview on Friday morning at Penn-State Brandywine. 

Leading the way for the Gators was Sophomore Rebecca Coleman who placed 33rd with a time of 32:20.65. Sanai Helms followed closely with a 33:03.91 time, placing 36th. Alyssa Rojas and Francisca Biann rounded out the team, both putting up strong performances falling in the 47th and 51st spots. 

Although the Gators did not have enough runners to register a team score, their solid efforts should carry onto their next upcoming meet at Penn State Abington on September 20th.
