ABINGTON, PA – The Notre Dame of Maryland cross country teams placed five runners in the field at the Penn State Abington Invitational on Saturday as they continued their run through the 2025 regular season.

Sanai Helms led the way for the Gators women, finishing 32nd overall with a time of 34:30 (9:15 pace). Close behind was Alyssa Rojas, who claimed 34th place in 34:55 (9:22 pace). Rounding out the lineup, Jemima Olanrewaju crossed in 66th place at 46:34 (12:29 pace).

The race gave the Gators another valuable opportunity to build toward the championship portion of their season, with each runner gaining experience on a competitive 6K course.

On the men's side, Gabriel Sisk finished 77th overall with a time of 44:37. Deliam Hill was close behind in 85th place at 50:05 in the 8k race.

Notre Dame of Maryland will return to action on Saturday October 4 when they travel to Cairn College for the Highlander Invitational as they continue their fall campaign.
