BALTIMORE – The Notre Dame of Maryland men's soccer team's defense held strong for 90 minutes on Wednesday afternoon versus Stockton at the Turf Field Sponsored by the SSNDs, not conceding despite facing 23 Osprey shots to earn their first clean sheet of the season.
Stockton out-shot NDMU 23-3 and had seven shots on target to the Gators' two.
David Von Mentlen stood strong in goal, recording seven saves as he earned his second clean sheet of his career.
Pedro Lima produced both Gators' shots on target, with each coming in the last five minutes of the two halves.
The Gators are 1-1-2 on the season and are back in action on Saturday to host Stevenson.
