BALTIMORE – The Notre Dame of Maryland women's volleyball team established its first winning streak of 2026 by claiming both matches against Saint Francis this afternoon inside the MBK Sports Complex, winning match one in four sets before grinding out a five-set win in set two.
The Gators hit .204 in match one and had 19 aces, the most by a team in a four-set match in the United East this season.
Kaliyah Brown had a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs; the senior had two aces and hit .400 for the match.
Bryanna Carter recorded 12 kills and hit .333.
Aleah Johnson had a season-high seven kills, and
Oliviya Rodriguez assisted 31 times.

Izzy Stewart dug seven attacks and was responsible for eight aces.
Carissa Tanseco tied Brown for the most digs on the team with 11.
Set two saw SFU's defense tighten up as the Gators had a -.010 attack percentage.
Brown led NDMU's offense with 13 kills in match two as well and had six digs.
Carter followed with six kills while
Myla Palmer and
Gwen Abnett had three each.
Celiana Carabello led the Gators with eight digs and six aces; Rodriguez assisted 23 times in match two.
The Gators are 4-5 on the season and are back in action next Wednesday when they host Goucher.
