BALTIMORE – The Notre Dame of Maryland women's volleyball team were bested by Washington College in their season opener this evening inside the MBK Sports Complex as the Shorewomen claimed a 3-0 win over the Gators, by a 25-19, 25-11, and 25-23 scoreline.
Set three proved to be the best for NDMU as they hit .200 for the set, only committing five errors and converting 11 kills.
Kaliyah Brown led the Gators' offense with 12 kills and a .321 attack percentage.

Bryanna Carter each recorded five kills, with Johnson also getting a pair of aces and five assists.
Libero
Izzy Stewart led the defense with 13 digs while also recording two aces from the service line.
Oliviya Rodriguez led the Gators with 13 helpers in her collegiate debut.
The Gators look to bounce back on Saturday as they face Hood and Shenandoah in a tri-match.
