BALTIMORE - The Notre Dame of Maryland volleyball team picked up its third straight win on Wednesday evening against Goucher inside the MBK Sports Complex, as the Gators downed the Gophers in four sets.
The Gators took sets one and two, 25- 19 and 25-17, before Goucher won set three, 25-18.
The Gators bounced back for a 25-15 win in set four to finish off the match.
Kaliyah Brown and Bryanna Carter each recorded 14 kills as the Gators out-killed Goucher 47-38. Cater had a .206 attack percentage, while Brown added two aces and eight digs.
Aleah Johnson had ten kills on a .333 attack percentage.
Oliviya Rodriguez assisted 42 times, her second-highest mark this season.
Izzy Stewart recorded 28 digs, while Celiana Carabello dug 13 Gopher attacks. Lisette Ahlijah had four blocks, the most for the freshman in her rookie season.
The Gators improve to 5-5 overall and open United East Conference play this weekend when they host Wilson.
