Raphael Jordan enters his third season as an assistant coach with the Notre Dame of Maryland University men’s basketball program. Known for his leadership, player development, and strong basketball acumen, Jordan has been a key contributor to the Gators’ growth and competitive culture.

Before joining Notre Dame of Maryland, Jordan coached at the McDonogh School, where he played an integral role in the development and success of the program. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement both on and off the court.

As a player, Jordan competed at Bryant University, where he was part of the school’s first incoming class during its transition to NCAA Division I. His experience as a student-athlete helped shape his commitment to excellence and his passion for mentoring the next generation of players.

Jordan earned his bachelor’s degree in Business from Bryant University in 2009 and later completed a master’s degree in Human Resources Development from McDaniel College.  He is married to Francesca, the couple has two children, Iliana and Reece.
