Dave Zikorus joined Coach Gizzi’s basketball coach staff in the 2016-17 season and has been leading the staff as the Director of Recruiting.
Our focus as a team and staff is to utilize our wealth of local coaching contacts within the Baltimore-DC- Va Metro area to bring in student athletes who are looking to play at the collegiate level while developing educational and leadership skills for their future careers.
Dave’s local Baltimore ties includes previous head coaching with the Baltimore CYO leagues and Reisterstown Rec Council, Maryland Sure Shots and Maryland Grizzlies at the AAU level. After moving on from the those organizations he joined the Mercy High School Magic of the IAAM A league as an assistant for 7 years and head coach for 3 years. Prior joining the Notre Dame staff, he also teamed up with Coach Gizzi for one year at The Seton Keough High School.
In addition to coaching, Dave is a small business owner as head of a commercial building company, Interstate Construction and Development Company, located in Carroll County, Maryland.
