Wynn took on the Head Basketball Coach job in 2019 under the Interim Head Coach tag. Wynn led the team to a 17-9 overall record and a 13-6 finish in the CSAC. The 13 wins against conference opponents was the most CSAC wins in school history.
Coach Wynn previously coached the Gators as assistant coach for two years, before stepping up as the Interim Head Coach for the 2019-20 season.
During his time as Interim Head Coach, Coach Wynn led the Gators to their second Colonial States Athletic Conference Playoff showing, finishing as number three in the CSAC for the 2019-20 basketball season. Additionally, the women's basketball team had four student-athletes earn CSAC postseason honors. Sophomore
Daija Fitchett was selected as CSAC Defensive Player of the Year and Second-Team All-CSAC, while freshman
Ayana Brim won Rookie of the Year and First-Team All-CSAC. Furthermore, freshman
Ariana Alleyne posted Second-Team All-CSAC honors and freshman
Jaylah Lewis finished with the CSAC All-Sportsmanship title.
Coach Wynn is a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. He graduated from Morgan State University with a Bachelors in Political Science. Wynn has coached AAU Girls basketball for 16 years with the Maryland Wildcats, Maryland Sureshots, and Maryland Lady Comets. Numerous players he has coached over the years have gone on to play college basketball.
Kalin is married to Stacey and has two daughters, Anastasia and Maya. Anastasia played basketball at Johns Hopkins University and Maya played basketball at Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania.
