Why NDMU?
Notre Dame offered me something rare: the chance to play both volleyball and lacrosse as well as an academic environment that I thrive in. It immediately felt like a place I belong, and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. The mentors I have gained through coaches, professors and peers is an unmatched experience that I will carry with me throughout my life.
What Does Playing Division III Athletics Mean to You?
Division III athletics focuses on the person. We are students and we are athletes but we are also young women. Being a D3 athlete is the best decision I could’ve made for myself, because I get the best of both worlds. Not only am I able to continue playing two sports that I love, I’m surrounded by people who are equally as dedicated to excelling academically and athletically. There is such a strong sense of community with Division III athletics.
What are your career aspirations?
My vision is boss lady. I want to run the show one day, and have a career that fulfills me socially yet allows me the time and energy to care for my family. I envision myself in a very hands-on environment, utilizing a lot of technology and getting to travel.
