Immaculata Tops Notre Dame, 6-1

IMMACULATA, PA - College of Notre Dame fell in its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) game Wednesday afternoon, falling 8-1 at Immaculata.

The Mighty Macs (2-3 overall, 1-0 CSAC) scored the first three goals of the game before senior Caitlan Quinn (Warwick, MD/Bohemia Manor) recorded the Gators lone goal of the game late in the first half. Immaculata continued its scoring ways in the second half with four more goals to close out the 8-1 win.

Eight different Mighty Macs recorded one point in the game, while Britt Worthington earned the win, while teammate Jess Jones made one save after taking over in the second half.

Jessica Maier (Beachwood, NJ/Toms River South) made five saves in the first 42:31 before giving way to teammate Emily Langton (Mays Landing, NJ/Holy Spirit).

Notre Dame (1-5 overall, 0-1 CSAC) will host CSAC opponent Keystone on Saturday at 2 p.m.
