Neumann Shuts Down Soccer, 2-0

ASTON, PA - Neumann University stopped any momentum College of Notre Dame had coming into Tuesday evening after a 3-0 win at Cedar Crest on Saturday, as the hosts shut down the visiting Gators 2-0 in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) women's soccer matchup Tuesday evening. Neumann improved to 6-5-1 overall with the win and 2-2 in CSAC play while Notre Dame slipped to 2-9 and 1-4, respectively.

After a scoreless first half, Gina Juliano netted her fourth goal of the season off an assist from Maria Tivoli in the 55th minute. Juliano put the game out of Notre Dame's reach with her second tally of the game in the 85th minute off a feed from Ana Galt.

Senior netminder Amanda McKenney (Chase, MD/Kenwood) made 13 saves in the losing effort for Notre Dame.
Neumann out shot Notre Dame by a 15-1 margin and had a 7-0 advantage on corner kicks.

The Gators return to action on Saturday with a 3 p.m. home game against CSAC foe Marywood.
