Baltimore, Md. - October 1, 2011 - The Notre Dame of Maryland University field hockey team fell 2-1 to visiting Cedar Crest College on a chilly afternoon on Alumnae Field. The loss moves the Gators to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in the league, while Cedar Crest College now stands at 1-7 on the year and 1-2 in CSAC action.

Notre Dame had 14 corners to Cedar Crest's 2 and outshot the visitors 19-11. Langton came up with 5 saves on the day, while her counterpart Harrison turned away 11 shots.
The Gators continue CSAC play when Immaculata University travels to Baltimore for a 4:00 p.m. tilt on Saturday, October. 8.
