Gators Fall To Immaculata

Box Score Baltimore, Md. --  The Gators played strongly through the first half, but couldn't maintain their defensive prowess as the Notre Dame of Maryland University field hockey team fell to Immaculata University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference Matchup.

Notre Dame saw a team effort protecting the net, as junior goalkeeper Danielle Neumeister (Baltimore, Md./Eastern Tech) recorded four saves while freshman Erica Deppenschmidt (Philadelphia, Pa./Philadelphia School for Girls) posted two defensive saves and freshman Erin Alford (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point) added another.

Offensively sophomore Sawyer Butto (Wyomissing, Pa./Sacred Heart University) and freshman Samantha Guntz (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point) tied for the team's lead in shots.

The Gators will now return to action Saturday as the squad will travel to Marywood University for a CSAC matchup.
