Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. – After trailing 1-0 in the first half, the Notre Dame soccer team battled back for a 5-1 win over Clarks Summit University. Following today's victory, the Gators improve to 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
Despite outshooting the Defenders in the first half, the Gators found themselves down 1-0 at the half. Sophomore Lyndsay Rehak was able to break the trend and net a goal in the 47th minute.
Four minutes later, sophomore Meghan Conner scored unassisted. The sophomore added her second goal on the day in the 58th minute to push the lead to 3-1.
Notre Dame's offense kept pace, as junior Alla Stepanov found sophomore Jessie Lindenkohl for her fourth tally on the year. Conner was able to complete the hat-trick to close out the win.
Freshman Loren Pardoe picked up the win in net after stopping three shots on goal.
Notre Dame is back in action Wednesday, when the club visits Neumann (7-6-1, 4-3-1 CSAC) for a conference matchup at 4 p.m.
