Soccer Drops Match at Neumann

ASTON, Pa. – The Notre Dame of Maryland soccer team fell 3-0 to Neumann tonight. As a result of the loss, the Gators drop to 3-10 on the year and 2-7 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, while the Knights remain in fourth place in the conference after improving to 8-6-1 overall and 5-3-1 in the CSAC. 

Neumann opened the scoring in the 21st minute as Brooke Harvey's chip shot found the back of the net. The Knights extended the lead to 3-0 in the second half, with goals coming in the 70th and 75th minute marks. 

The Knights' defense was strong, holding the Gators to zero shots on goal. Freshman Loren Pardoe recorded her fourth full game in net and tallied 10 saves, her second most saves on the year. 

The Notre Dame of Maryland soccer team will celebrate the careers of seniors Brittany Smith and Cristina Barrios-Lopez in their last ever home match on Saturday, as the team welcomes Cairn (4-8-1, 1-6-1 CSAC) to campus. Match time is 2:30 p.m.
