ABINGTON, Pa. – The Notre Dame of Maryland volleyball team split today's tri-match at Penn State Abington. The Gators fell 3-0 to Abington before bouncing back for a 3-0 win against Penn State Lehigh Valley. 

The Gators put up a fight against the Lions, falling 25-23, 26-24 and 26-24. Freshman Mary Marquez led the club with 11 kills, while senior Cleaya Antes and junior Jamie Reyes added 35 digs and 25 assists, respectively. Reyes also registered her first double-double on the season with 16 digs. 

Juniors Bobbi McDowell and Ashley Guy, along with freshman Kayleigh Davis combined for 9 blocks, three apiece in the loss. 

In the 25-13, 25-16, 25-12 win over Lehigh Valley, Guy led with a team high nine kills, while Davis and McDowell finished with six and three, respectively. 

Guy, Davis and senior Cassidy Keller each earned a pair of blocks. Junior Stephanie Roche led the Gators with six service aces and 11 assists. 

Notre Dame welcomes Marywood (8-15, 4-2 CSAC) to campus tomorrow at 11 a.m.
