Conner Nets Lone Goal in Loss at Marymount

ARLINGTON, Va. – The soccer team made the journey to Arlington, Va. tonight to face the Marymount Saints. The Gators struggled to gain traction early, and as a result, fell 7-1. 

The Gators were outshot 17-5 through 90 minutes of action. 

Marymount scored the game's first four goals but Notre Dame was able to hold off the Saints momentarily and get on the board. That goal came in the 25th minute, as sophomore Meghan Conner was able to score on a chip shot that went just over the keeper's hands and into the back of the net. 

Sophomore Lilly Gordon made six saves, while also allowing five goals in the tilt. Freshman Loren Pardoe entered the game in the 66th minute and tallied four saves in the loss. 

Notre Dame will host Keystone on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Giants are 3-3 on the year and 0-1 in the CSAC. On Saturday, Keystone fell to Immaculata but bounced back for a 2-0 win at SUNY-DELHI on Tuesday. You can follow all of this weekend's action via the live stats and video links.
