BALTIMORE, Md. – The field hockey team falls to 1-4 on the year after today's 8-0 loss to the Keystone College Giants. 

The Giants' first goal game in the third minute and they added another just moments later. Keystone would not let up, scoring two more goals to end the half. 

Keystone scored three goals in the first eight minutes of action in the second half to take a 7-0 lead.  The Giants went on to score once more before closing out the game with the win. 

Senior De'Ja Martin recorded 12 saves on 22 shots faced in the loss, while senior Erika Deppenschmidt and freshman Hannah Moresman earned a pair of defensive saves. Deppenschmidt and sophomore Megan Morales tallied the team's only two shots on goal. 

The Gators will have to put this game in the past quick, as the club travels to Harrisonburg, Va. tomorrow for a 1 p.m. meeting against Eastern Mennonite University (3-4).
