Box Score RADNOR, Pa. -- The Notre Dame field hockey team wrapped their 2017 campaign at Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Cabrini University, Wednesday afternoon.  The Gators registered a shot on goal in the game, but would eventually fall to the Cavaliers, 8-0.  In the game, junior Megan Morales posted her 43 shot this season.  On the defensive end, freshman Calenna Cauley posted 15 saves against Cabrini, while Morales tallied a defensive save. 

The Gators finish their season 1-13 overall.  This season Notre Dame had many highlights.  In their second game of the season, the Gators posted a 5-0 victory over Sweet Briar College.  Morales tallied two goals in the win, followed by junior Kayla Becker, sophomore Jessica Wells, and Kat Malone with one apiece.  Cauley had a standout performance in her rookie season for the Gators.  She finishes the season with 199 saves and tallied a career-high, 27 versus Marywood.  She is currently ranked third in the nation in saves per game with 15.33.  Shes had four games this season recording 21+ saves. 

Morales is ranked in the top 10 for total shots and shots per game in the CSAC, while Michaela Seay and Malone are in the top 10 for defensive saves in the CSAC.  Morales paced the team with 42 shots this season and three goals.  This year's squad only had one senior, Peace Ani, who was honored before their home game on October 12.
