Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Notre Dame Gators hosted Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Cabrini University on Tuesday afternoon. A beautiful fall day set the stage for a CSAC matchup of two teams coming off weekend wins.
The Cavaliers took a total of 16 shots in the first half but sophomore goalkeeper,
Loren Pardoe held them to two goals including 8 saves. The Gators had a chance late in the first half when a
Meghan Conner header sailed just right of the post and out of play.
Pardoe added some spectacular saves early in the second half to keep the Gators in the game. Pardoe's career-high, 20 saves,.was instrumental in almost every play keeping the Cavaliers from scoring. Senior
Raeden McCullough played stout defense along with senior
Lindsey Webb to shut down the Cavaliers for Notre Dame. McCullough posted the Gators only shot in the second half despite pressure by newcomer
Adrianna Fletcher on the front line.
The Gators will have the rest of the week off then will head to Centenary for another conference game on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
