Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Notre Dame Gators took on the Immaculata Mighty Macs at home on Wednesday afternoon. An unusually warm October day set the scene for the Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup.
Gator goalkeeper, freshman
Calenna Cauley who averages 14.29 saves per game kept the Mighty Macs out of the goal early. Immaculata broke the scoreless tie 13 minutes in the first half and added four more before half time.
Cauley added a few acrobatic saves and with 17 today her season average goes up. The Gators missed a scoring chance when a corner led to
Megan Morales shot from
Jessica Wells. Wells and
Michaela Seay both recorded defensive saves, while freshman
Andrea Berkheimer recorded her first career shot. The Mighty Macs added five more in the second half for a 9-0 final.
The Gators will take a road trip this Saturday for more CSAC action against Marywood at 4 p.m.
