Box Score FREDERICK, Md. – Notre Dame field hockey suffered a tough loss today on the road at Hood. The Gators dropped their first of two road games this week, 6-1 against the Blazers.
The Blazers posted three goals in the opening half. The Gators saw several shot attempts in the first half, posting four shot off of four penalty corners. After giving up six goals, Notre Dame posted their only goal of the game in the 67

In the game, the team registered 11 shots. Senior
Peace Ani and
Kat Malone both posted a defensive save, while freshman goalkeeper
Calenna Cauley record 15 saves. This is the third game this season she has posted double-digit saves.
Notre Dame field hockey will next travel to Bryn Athyn College on Saturday. The game is set for a 1:00 p.m. start time.
