Pardoe Posts Career Saves In Gator Loss

Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa. – Notre Dame soccer opened their Colonial States Athletics Conference play today, traveling to Immaculata University.  Despite holding the Mighty Macs to only one first half goal, the team would drop to 0-1 in the CSAC as they fell, 5-0.

In the opening half, Notre Dame played Immaculata tough, holding the Mighty Mac scoreless through the first 36 minutes of play.  After Immaculata rallied off 17 shots, they would take a 1-0 lead off a rebounded save from sophomore Loren Pardoe.  Immaculata kept the Notre Dame defense busy posting 44 shots in the game and 24 in the first half.  In another impress game in goal for the Gators, Pardoe posted 16 saves for a career-high.  In the first half, she tallied 10.  Senior Raeden McCullough and freshman Morghan McQuaige led the Gators in shots on goal.

Notre Dame moves to 1-4 overall this season.  They will next travel to Keystone College Saturday for their second conference game of the week.
