Box Score GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Notre Dame field hockey faced off against Colonial States Athletics Conference opponent Gwynedd Mercy College in their first conference game of the season.  The Gators gave up two early goals to the Griffins and could not recover as they fell, 10-0.

Junior Megan Morales posted two shots in the game off a late corner by sophomore Jessica Wells.  In goal for Notre Dame Calenna Cauley had another impressive game.  She tallied 10 saves for her fifth game this season with double-digit saves.  She remains first in the CSAC for saves per game.

The Gators move to 1-7 overall and 0-1 in the CSAC.  They will next host Immaculata University next Wednesday.
