La PLUME, PA. – The Notre Dame basketball team traveled to Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent, Keystone College Tuesday night. In their first of three CSAC games this week, the Gators struggled to bridge the gap from their first quarter deficit, falling to the Giants, 73-47.
From off the bench, sophomore
Adrianna Fletcher lead the Gators in scoring, recording 11 points. Both Fletcher and freshman
Vanessa Dunn posted two three-pointers against the Giants. Dunn finished with seven points.
Dunn and Fletcher sit atop of the CSAC three-point field goal per game. Dunn is second in the CSAC with 2.3 per game and Fletcher is fourth with 2.1.
Sophomore
Jaya Green led the team in rebounds, posting 11 of the team's 49. She also led the team in steals with three and had two assists. Freshman
Daija Fitchett tallied nine points against the Giants, while also reeling in seven rebounds.
Feeding the offense, senior
Justice Walrath led the Gators with four assists, while Fletcher added three.
Senior
Justine Mudiay also added seven points for the Gators downing three field goals, including one from three-point range.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators will have one day off before returning to CSAC action on Thursday, hosting Wilson College. This is their first meeting of the season and the only home game for the Gators this week. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time.
