BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame volleyball scored a thrilling non-conference victory Thursday night as they defeated the Washington College Shorebirds, 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-19). Prior to the start of their match, NDMU celebrated the 2018 CSAC Volleyball Championship, giving out the team's Championship rings.
The Gators' offense was on against Shorebirds, posting 43 kills. This is their sixth match this season with 40+ kills, but the most kills posted in a three-set match. Senior
Kayleigh Davis led the team with 17 kills for her second best kill performance of the season.

Michaila Sheedy and sophomore
Alyssa Kerns combined for 17 kills, while Sheedy hit for .500. Sheedy has posted 20 kills and 0 errors in her last two matches.
From the service line, Davis paced the team with three aces, with the team finished with seven for the match.
The Gators were dominate on defense, posting six assist blocks, led by senior
Sara Few with three. She also led the team in assists with 37. As a team, they tallied 50 team digs, led by freshman
Ivanella Figueroa with 19. Few added 10 digs, while Marquez, Davis and sophomore
Angel Carino combined for 19.
Notre Dame advances to a 11-game win streak and has not dropped a set in seven matches.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators are on the road Saturday at Clarks Summit University for more CSAC action. This will be their third match in four days.
