CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Notre Dame volleyball was on the road Saturday afternoon at Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent, Clarks Summit University. The Gators remained undefeated in the CSAC defeating the Defenders, 3-1 (25-12, 18-25, 25-10, 25-14).
Sophomore
Alyssa Kerns and junior
Michaila Sheedy paced the team on the front line, as Kerns finished with 14 kills and Sheedy with 12. Kerns hit for a season-high, while hitting for .323. Sheedy led the front line in hitting percentage, hitting for .429.
Senior
Sara Few hit for .667, posting six kills in nine attempts. She also led the team in assists, finishing the match with 31. From the service line, she also posted four aces.
From the service line, the Gators tallied 15 aces, led by Sheedy with five.
On defense, NDMU had two players post double-digit digs, led by freshman
Ivanella Figueroa with 16. Few added 11 digs, while senior
Kayleigh Davis added six. Davis also finished the match with nine kills.
WHAT'S NEXT?
NDMU returns to conference action next week where they will host matches on Wednesday and Saturday against Cairn University and Keystone College.
