Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Volleyball Scores 21st Win, Defeat Shock 3-0

BALTIMORE, Md. — The Gators picked up their final regular season home win Tuesday night, hosting the Washington Adventist Shock. Notre Dame bested the Shock is straight sets, 3-0 (25-9, 25-11, 25-14). 

Sophomore Alyssa Kerns led the team in kills, finishing the match with 12. She also hit for .474, while junior Michaila Sheedy led the team at .583. Sheedy posted 8 kills on 13 attempts. 

Senior Kayleigh Davis added 10 kills and finished the match with seven digs. 

Senior Sara Few paced the offense with 21 assists, while freshman Cara McLaughlin added nine. 

From the service line, the Gators tallied nine aces, led by Sheedy and McLaughlin with three apiece. 

Defensively, the team posted 31 digs led my sophomore Angel Carino with nine. Senior Mary Marquez added six digs.  Kerns led the team with three blocks. 

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Gators head to Centenary University for their final matches of the season. They will also face York (N.Y.) in the trimatch.
