CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Notre Dame volleyball secured their first Colonial States Athletic Conference win Thursday night over Wilson College, 3-0 (25-23, 27-25, 25-14).
Senior
Kayleigh Davis led the team with 13 kills, while sophomore
Alyssa Kerns added eight. Senior
Mary Marquez and junior
Michaila Sheedy combined for 13 kills. Kerns had a solid night in the front row, hitting for .412.
The Gators were strong from the service line, finishing the match with seven aces. Freshman
Ivanella Figueroa led the team with three, followed by sophomore
Emma Jordan with two.
Feeding the offense, senior
Sara Few paced the team with 31 assists, while also adding four kills and one ace.
Defensively, the Gators posted three solo blocks and four block assists. Figueroa led the team with five digs, followed by sophomore
Angel Carino and Marquez with four. The team finished with 21 digs.
WHAT'S NEXT?
In a short turnaround for the Gators, they will face CSAC opponent College of St. Elizabeth at home at 4:00 p.m.
